Traffic signal installation expected to affect traffic in Marana

As part of the Twin Peaks Interchange project on Interstate 10 in Marana, the Arizona Department of Transportation will be installing a new, four-way traffic signal at West Twin Peaks Road and North Coachline Boulevard this week from Tuesday through Thursday.

The Marana Police Department will be on hand to direct traffic at the existing four-way stop. Marana will activate the new light signals in early August, before the next school year begins.

ADOT warns drivers to proceed with caution, obey all posted speed-limit signs and watch out for construction equipment and workers.

Motorists are reminded not to follow construction vehicles into the work zone.
